Our weekend was busy and fun with a graduation party, visits to the pool, renting movies, and a great cookout at Mimi's house. Memorial day is a great reminder of all the men and women who have and continue to serve our country, a job I will admit I would be too afraid to do.
We had a great visit with the Mullers at JCC swimming pool. We cherish the friendship we have with them, we always have a great time together. We can't wait to meet baby Muller # 2 June 30th!!! Seeing my friend so pregnant brings back memories of when I carried my two little ones and how exciting the last couple weeks of pregnancy are even though you start to get extremely uncomfortable. Being pregnant is really one of the BEST moments in your life. After 10 long months you finally get to meet the little baby that's been kicking you, you finally get to see the sweet little face you have daydreamed about. It's simply amazing to think about sometimes because when you look back on what you thought was so long of a time and that you might just be pregnant forever, somehow you blink and you are preparing to celebrate their first birthday! I'm not sure anything can top the day your baby is born.
After swimming, we headed over to Mimi's house for a yummy cookout! The menu included BBQ chicken, squash casserole, mac-n-cheese, slaw, watermelon, and double chocolate brownies! As my Dad would say "how can you beat it!" I say this alot but I feel you can never say it enough, I LOVE my family, and I am BLESSED to have them all!!
There are lots and lots of pictures to see! I would like to give a shout out to my brother's girlfriend Annie for taking some great pictures of my kiddos.
Please note also some of the pictures of Ava and her dramatics. She is quite the little actress. Who knows we may have a broadway star on our hands.
The fight for the helmet and car begin!
Ava starts the pout, Gus goes on...
Actual tears over a helmet and car......
Goose means serious business, he will not give in...........
Ava decides to clean up a little before she makes her move........
Gus left the car unattended for 5 seconds and Ava swoops in, look at this face, don't mess with this girl!
The helmet will have to wait for another day, for now all is right with the world again for miss Ava.
LOVE this post! Great, great pictures!
