So much fun was had this past weekend at Churchill downs to celebrate Father Ralph, Lakeside, and the Science Museum.  We are so blessed to have such great family.  We can't wait to see what the next few weeks have in store for us.  We are praying for some good news:)  As always enjoy the pictures.

Ava enjoyed the track immensely especially with her Mimi:)

Ava was grateful Grandaddy took her down to the paddock, but really wanted to ride the horses not just watch.

Alex keeping close to Daddy while he watches the horses.

Having fun with Sister Anthony.

Teaching Sister Anthony how to play games on the phone.

Looking over the horses.

Lakeside!

No one enjoys museums and pools more than my husband he really gets into it.

It's Time To Get Wet

The temp is in the upper 80's and looks like this week we will be in the 90's.  So this means it's time to get out the swimsuits and hit up the splash parks!  We went to the Zoo's splash park on Saturday and Bert and I promised each other we would never make that mistake again (WAY TOO CROWDED.)  Today my sister and her family came over with their big waterslide!  My kids played pretty much all day outside in the water.  We have been watching my parent's dogs all weekend and with all do respect we are ready for them to come home on Tuesday:)  Enjoy the pictures.

Busy May

May is a busy month, of course we have Oaks and Derby, and following these big events is a series of birthdays!  Sweet Gussy turned four, My sister turned 31 (which means I turn 30 this December:/!)  My dad turned 61, and my sister in law celebrates hers at the end of the month.  In between we celebrated Mother's Day, and have enjoyed lots of showers for people we love!  Here are some pictures of a busy beautiful May.

Summer is almost here

Ava is almost finished with school.  I think she will be a sad little pup when the last day comes.  She is always ready for school in the morning:)   I hope this love for school continues throughout her career.  We decided to decline t-ball this year, and hopefully just fill our days having fun at the Zoo/Splash park, Science museum, and our very own backyard.  Just 17 weeks until our new little baby arrives. I am preparing myself for being pregnant during a very hot summer.  For our recent zoo trip we were blessed with a 90 degree temp.  Enjoy the Zoo pictures.
