I'd like to start this post by saying we did NOT go black friday shopping. Bert and I decided it was a much better idea to snuggle in bed where it was warm and save some money some other time. We also recently purchased a new camera which is our Christmas gift to ourselves this year. We are the proud owners of a cannon digital slr!! No more blaming the camera for bad pictures, it's all up to me now!
Thanksgiving was GREAT! We had a relaxing time with our family and friends. The food of course was delicious, and the time we spent together was priceless. We did miss Uncle Tommy terribly, but we get him for a whole two weeks at Christmas!! I am trying to plan a dinner with just the four of us. I cherish my brothers and sister and sometimes wish I had more. I loved growing up with them, we had our share of fights, but the majority of the time we all got along and had each other to cling to. I consider us a unique bunch, I had no idea other siblings didn't get along like we did, and found it odd in grade school when I shared with my friends my brothers and sister and I were performing a play in our basement that weekend. They would look at me like I was nuts, but we sure had fun!
This year I am thankful for my family, my friends, and my health. When you have these three things there really is no need to complain.
