Merry Christmas

We had a very Merry Christmas filled with joy and laughter.  I love spending time with family, this year was relaxing and fun.  These are some of my favorite pictures of Christmas.  Alex loves all of his gifts, I think he enjoys his Thomas the train tracks best, and Ava of course loved everything she got but most of all her Butterscotch.  I am already a little annoyed with Butterscotch because she treats the horse as a real living thing and begs us not to turn Butterscotch off, talks to her, and tells us when Butterscotch is cold and in need of a blanket.  She is currently crying because I won't let Butterscotch sleep in my bed!  I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

Do you think the grand kids our loved?

I love when Ava lets me curl her hair, she reminds me we only do it for special occasions.

Photo shoot

Today was such a beautiful day, my kids did not have to ask me more than once to go to the park.  We packed up quickly and were off!  I grabbed the camera on the way out to get in a little practice time.  I love candid shots of my kids.  Where some folks might see the back of a head, I see my kids deep in play or thought and a great feeling comes over me that I just captured that in a photo:)  Enjoy the pictures!

Megan Hile Photography pictures

These are the wonderful photos Megan Hile took of our family.  You can look her up on face book at Megan Hile Photography for more information. For our Christmas card I decided to do something different at the last minuet.  I was thinking to myself gosh we had such a great vacation in Destin this year, why don't I do a beachy Christmas card?  It sort of backfired because I thought the pictures on the card came out horrible and was very unsatisfied.  After showing them to my sister and Mom it appeared we were not looking at the same card because they thought they were fine.  So after all that mess I decided to just use them, not get my money back even though they finally offered, and I will just have to settle for it is what it is.   I did expect better quality, but I am moving on from this ha!

Ava's Christmas performance is tomorrow and I am so excited!  She has been practicing very hard:)
